Gay.com are raising money for Food Chain which is a really good cause - all you have to do is follow this link and then log into gay.com - surely everyone must be a member (it's free to join) and then gay.com give Food Chain £1, simple or what? Just for a couple of clicks...

Lots happening but I think I'll attempt a diary entry about that tonight.. in the meantime got a meeting later to discuss staffing at work (or lack of) .. and my horoscope for today said:

Your mad dash slows to a purposeful stride. Inspiration sets in at a deeper, more practical level. A judgment is made in your favor. Even as victory allows you to move forward, try not to laugh at the losers. Ruthlessness is in bad taste. Dare to be a good sport. The energy that you put forth is sure to attract the people and events who should be part of your life as it moves forward. Try something different and out of the ordinary, just to see what happens."
Something to get excited about do you think?

Someone posted this quote to the uk-motss mailing list and I could resist posting it here as well it:
"In the inquest into the death if Stuart Lubbock chez Barrymore, Dr Michael Heath said in court "I cannot find anything that indicates you can suddenly die from anal penetration". "
ROFL. Tragic circumstances but fantastic quote - I wonder if he delivered it with a straight (?!) face.

The Conservative peer Baroness Janet Young of Farnworth, who campaigned against the repeal of Section 28 and an equal age of consent, has died aged 75. Somehow I don't think her passing will be missed by much of the gay community who she persecuted in opposing equalisation of the age of consent, ensured Section 28 is still part of UK law as well as other stuff inflicting her personal ideas of family values on a nation. Bitter, me?

Flying back from Amsterdam later today... a final check of the emails before finishing off the packing. Been staying at The Collector B&B which is really nice. Slight panic about tomorrow but more on that later.
